Becoming an Employer of Choice - Workshop

Friday, October 25 | 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Saturday, October 26 | 8:30 am – 11:30 am (cont'd)

When you register for the Employer Of Choice pre-conference workshop, you’ll receive an exclusive 10% discount on your registration fee for next year’s 2025 NWRPCA/CHAMPS Fall Conference!

Community health center (CHC) leaders aren’t driven solely by the CHC mission or by the number of patients served—they’re driven by a desire to establish and grow the health center as the “employer of choice” in their communities. Yet between a rapidly changing American health care system, increased competition for talent, staff burnout, evolving technology, and other demands, many if not most health center leaders are doing everything they can just to stay above water. Coming out of the pandemic, the work to recruit, retain and inspire employees is harder than ever especially given the inflationary challenges factored in. Becoming an employer of choice can feel like a very far away goal without intentional focus and a plan.

This training and development experience will focus on creating a stronger health center brand by examining practical steps that leaders can take to establish their health center as an employer of choice.

The session facilitator has successful and direct hands-on experience in each of these segments. With each step, we will discuss related experiences, research, best practices, specific tools and strategies, in a dynamic and interactive learning and facilitation process.
